Elsewhere, Brigadier General Shahrokh Shahram referred to the importance of self-sufficiency in the manufacture of electronic parts, radar and communications equipment, adding: “The experience we have gained during the Eight Years of Sacred Defense has shown us that we have to be self-sufficient. “in the field of combat and military equipment, because no country provides us with this equipment.”

Today, the Defense Department’s Electronic Industries Organization can manufacture thousands of wireless devices for the country’s armed forces, he said.

He then referred to the collaboration of his organization with universities and knowledge-based companies, adding, “We currently have a fair collaboration and collaboration with 600 academic centers and 900 knowledge-based companies established to meet the requirements of the armed forces in the relevant field.”
