News Agency AhlulBayt (ABNA): The Commander in Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran praised the successful resistance of the Yemeni people and the defense of their country against invaders and their supporters, especially the USA and Saudi Arabia.
“Today we can no longer see a dangerous America, but a defeated, fleeing and discouraged America,” said Major General Hossein Salami on Sunday.
“Also, the Saudi regime can no longer be seen as a regime that is still able to attack a defenseless nation like Yemen by any means possible,” he added.
“The voices of these powers are dying,” said Salami.
The IRGC chief spoke of how the Yemeni nation and its defenders neutralized a seven-year-old invasion of Saudi Arabia and its allies.
The war has tried unsuccessfully to restore power in Yemen to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and favorite US officials. Washington has provided generous arms, logistical and political support to the war effort.
However, in the face of aggression, Yemen’s army and people’s committees, the country’s united defense forces, have firmly rejected it.
Countless Yemeni missiles and rockets have crossed Saudi Arabia’s missile systems procured by the US and flown as far as the Saudi capital Riyadh and the United Arab Emirates, a co-intruder.
Last Sunday, amid the ongoing failure of American equipment in the face of Yemeni projectiles, the Associated Press reported that the United States had surprisingly removed the Terminal High Altitude Air Defense (THAAD), which has been dubbed the most advanced American projectile interception system. and its Patriot missile batteries from the outskirts of the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
Salami separately expressed their joy that the resistance of the Iranian nation had also helped them to withstand all pressures.
“In our own country, the Iranian nation has engaged in resistance despite all natural or imposed constraints [too]. And now these obstacles will be removed, the adversity will give way to easier times and the streets will be paved, ”he said.
The whole world now envies this nation, which has been successfully asserting itself against great powers for more than four decades, said the commander.
“Iran’s name is identified with greatness, compassion, progress, integrity and unity,” he said, also praising the strong emotional bond the Iranian people have with the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
