Rawalpindi: At a seminar marking the anniversary of Imam Khomeini (RA), the founder of the Iranian Revolution, held in Khanah Farhang, Islamic Republic of Iran, Rawalpindi, the acting Iranian ambassador and guest of honor at the event, Mohammad Surkhabi, said The Iranian Islamic Revolution continues in full force despite the evils of the United States and the Zionist regime, and this revolution has always been the voice of the oppressed peoples of the world.
He said Imam Khomeini was brave and fearless and used skill and experience to thwart American conspiracies.
Before the seminar, Iranian Cultural Consulate Ehsan Khazaei said: When Imam Khomeini was asked before the Islamic revolution how he intends to overthrow the monarchy and fight against the United States, Imam said of today’s children, this will be tomorrow’s youth.
Director General Khana Farhang, Rawalpindi Faramarz RehmanZad said during the welcome address that Imam Khomeini (RA) was a great Arif (Sufi) who was able to live with a unique and simple lifestyle as a great leader like Prophet Hazrat Muhmaad (PBUH) to live. and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS)
Allama Arif Wahidi, secretary-general of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, said in his speech to the seminar that Imam Khomeini only defended Islam during his simple life and did not care that his opponent was the United States. Imam Khomeini also called for unity and emphasized Islamic unity between Shiites and Sunnis.
Maulana Haider Alvi, a religious scholar, said before the seminar that Imam Khomeini (RA) through the Islamic Revolution convinced the world that this revolution belongs neither to the East nor to the West, but is an Islamic revolution. He said Iran is the only Islamic country in the world where Islamic law is in force.
Razia Naveed, head of the women’s department of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, said that Imam Khomeini (RA) did not raise the slogan of either East or West, which caused a stir among world powers and attempts were made to remove it from the path. Imam Khomeini defeated the world powers with his tireless efforts. In the eight-year war imposed by the Saddam regime, Imam Khomeini (RA) fought against the world powers with the help of the Iranian people. Razia Naveed said that Imam Khomeini (RA) made it clear to the world that religion and politics are intertwined. The whispers of revolution can also be heard in Pakistan.
Legal expert Abdul Qayyum Raja said the West, which claims to be a democracy, opposes the introduction of democracy in Islamic countries. The West is against the Islamic democratic system in Iran. Despite forty years of harsh economic sanctions against Iran, the people there have still resisted with revolutionary spirit because Imam Khomeini’s (RA) revolution touched their hearts.
