Ayatollah Sadegh Larijani, the chairman of the Iranian arbitration council, announces the resignation of the previous secretary Mohammed Bagher Zolghadr as secretary of the body.
Ayatollah Larijani described Zolghadr as an experienced and revolutionary man in an order and appointed him to the post.
Larijani expressed the hope that Zolqadr can fulfill his duties as secretary of the Iranian arbitration council. Zolqadr is a former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. He was the deputy commandant of the IRGC. In the past, he also served as the strategic deputy of the Iranian judiciary.
Zolqadr was named the new secretary of the Iranian Arbitration Council by Larijani after he was approved by the leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Mohsen Rezaei, who was named vice president of economics, served as secretary to the expediency council for a long time.
Advising the Supreme Leader is one of the main tasks of the Council.
