Asset Information Services (AIS), a global leader in digital services, a James Fisher company, on Monday announced its business development and account management expansion plans, which include hiring in key global regions to serve its fast-growing customer base.
In 2022, AIS expands its international team and gains a foothold in Indonesia, UAE, Nigeria and Mexico by recruiting exceptional local talent. These teams will be responsible for developing and growing the customer base and managing accounts, delivering enhanced digital twin systems to the energy sector at a time of rapid growth.
“With the energy industry in flux, there has never been a greater need to drive intelligent change and business development driven by data and information management,” said Sean Huff, AIS Director. “To do this, the right people must be in the right places to support decision makers on the most important actions. Our global customers have spoken and we couldn’t be happier to meet them locally and grow our business in lockstep. We are very pleased to have our new team members on board.”
As the energy transition gathers momentum along with a global surge in demand, the pressure to maintain uptime of productive assets without sacrificing the safety of operational practices increases. Combined with the need to manage and service remote and aging facilities by global vendors who often work from home, digitalization is at the heart of many owner/operator priorities.
As digitization takes root, many organizations initially feel limited in their ability to embrace a digital agenda. Aging facilities, significant amounts of unstructured offline documentation, and weak data management protocols can result in a lack of fundamental documentation required for digital success, such as: B. P&IDs and plant plans. By having AIS personnel on-site to support such resources, digitization journeys can be realized by identifying and addressing workflow and information gaps, thereby setting the stage for success.
“It’s a fantastic moment to join the AIS team at such a pivotal period of growth for both the business and our software offerings,” Raj Kushal, APAC Regional Manager. “AIS anticipates the industry need for digital twins before the term was even coined and is delivering real value with its new digital twin software. This role allows me to work closely with local clients in APAC to realize their digital ambitions. It is an exciting time to be part of this international team!”
In addition to this international expansion, AIS also recently announced technology partnerships with global digital twin pioneer APIteq in February and shutdown and turnaround technology leader Mobideo in March. These partnerships help AIS continue to support its international customers to reduce costs, increase security and improve workflows.
