Pennsylvania State Police say a 14-year-old boy is dead after crashing in an all-terrain vehicle on Campbell Road near Lynn Cemetery Road in Springville Township.

The Springville boy was reportedly driving at unsafe speed on October 15 when he was unable to turn a corner and hit several concrete barriers on the side of the road.

Soldiers say the Yamaha YFZ450 ATV drove over the barriers and hit several large rocks along the banks of White Creek before settling in the creek.

Authorities said the Susquehanna County boy was wearing a helmet.
